years of professional experience

I retired from Queen's in 2012. My friends and I traveled for the greater part of my retirement.

I lost my dearest friend, as well as my Daughter several years ago. I miss them both so much. I am still a very healthy person, and decided I should find a job I could enjoy.

I am empathic person, easy to laugh, always a smile and a good thing to say about everyone.

Accomplishments

  • Documented and resolved [Issue] which led to [Results].

The ED was getting busier as time went by. In a monthly Unit council meeting I noticed an empty18 bed unit. I broached the idea of moving patients waiting for a bed to that unit.

Opening such a unit required completely different skills set to make it work. I was very fortunate to have the approval of our Nursing Director.

My daughter was hospitalized just recently. I was able to tour my unit 15 years after opening. Needless to say the unit now cares for 20-36 patients.
