I was born and raised in Colorado. I started work at the age of 16 and by 18 I had a job at a Jewish synagogue. I come from a very diverse family. I grew up with a Lutheran pastor as my grandfather/dad and a loving Lutheran grandmother. My mom worked very hard for my sister and I so I was at my grandparents a lot helping them garden, being in and out of the churches and volunteer centers, helping and spending time with my grandmother and elderly at my grandmother’s previous job in an elderly living facility. I went on to school and started work at Marriott doing in room dining and customer care. I’ve volunteered in churches, food banks, and facilities. I have always hard a heart to heal and help others. I heard about peace corps from my grandmother and after praying about it, decided it is something I would love to do and be apart of.
Monitored the club lounge for seating availability, practiced safety, set up food assortments and breakfast bar, cleaned lounge, and checked for well being of guests.
