- Coordinating with General Contractor(GC) and other trades to ensure electrical work is being done on schedule, and not conflicting with other trades work.
- Communicating with Principals, Building Engineers, and other staff on CPS projects to safely plan and execute work while school is in, or out of session.
- Laying out and delegating work to the crew which includes journeymen, apprentices, and trainees. Making sure they have the Personal Protective Equipment(PPE), information, tools, equipment, and material needed to work daily.
- Successfully balancing print reading/laying out work for the crew, and working with the tools myself to help complete electrical construction projects.
- Ensuring that all work is being completed safely and professionally according to OSHA standards, Chicago Electrical Code(CEC) 2018, CPS, and blueprint specifications.
- Communicating regularly with Project Manager(s) through phone, text, or e-mail on progress of projects.
