I represented this company some time ago as a manufacturers representative selling nylon slings to a distributor network. Part of my function was to hold safe lifting seminars at end user accounts. After one year the company and I decided the territory was not profitable enough to support a representative.

Initially i was working with Excel welding supplies when Airgas purchased the company in December of 2012. Airgas asked me to stay on staff. I introduced the company and was getting business from the largest construction project in New Jersey. I negotiated to supply them with gases and welding supplies. I was very active in training new inside customer service reps. Our largest customer at that time was Acker shipyard. I was laid off because of redundancy in the sales force.

Inside sales customer service in a high volume setting. Professionalism was the required discipline because of the high volume and quality of customers. I worked very closely with sales management to set up appointments for the representatives.

I did sales training, sales management and outside sales. I negotiated large contracts with one of the largest construction companies in New Jersey and the same time serviced the local shipbuilding companies.
