I'm a hardworking, very motivated individual with over 20 years kitchen experience. Most recently with the same restaurant for 22 years starting as a line cook and then moving on to Kitchen Management as well as being Floor Manager. Besides helping with the opening of various locations as far as construction and menu preparation I also helped in the development of floor plans, hiring, recipes, and even as a manager I spent a lot of time on the line during heavy volume at our busiest peaks. I just recently left my last job because I needed a change of atmosphere and some new challenges. There is still a lot I need to learn, but I am eager and willing to learn new methods and techniques as well as sharpening my skills. My work ethics is what drives me and I believe I can be a good addition to your team.
Became Restaurant Manager of Johnny Rockets within 9 months of employment. Voted cook of the year two years in a row by my peers at Sandbar before moving on to management. Voted into Restaurant Management's Who's Who shortly after. Helped create and plan some of Sandbar's best promotional events. Rode bicycle 750 miles up the coast from Florida to North Carolina raising $2500 for charity while being sponsored by Sandbar through their webpage. Collected toys for tots from 30 plus guests while hosting private Holiday parties. Played a very integral part in the development and success of the Sandbar as part of a strong and well developed team that became more like family.
