Serves as a Team Leader and a Lead Construction Equipment Mechanic for Echo Forward Support Company, 29th Brigade Support Battalion, Brigade Engineering Battalion Detachment.
Echo FSC supports six different units within the Brigade
Responsible for the welfare, discipline, morale, and readiness of the three soldiers in my team while assisting the shop foreman in training and technical mentorship of all, but not limited to construction equipment repairers within the platoon.
Ensure soldiers are performing to army standards. Mentor servicing, repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and isolating faults to include auditory, visual mechanic or electrical component failures. Also performs unscheduled repairs, as necessary.
Monthly tasks include the preparation and readiness of multiply equipment and vehicles for natural disasters, civil unrest/ martial law, or declaration of war.

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and major repairs on Heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, ground equipment, special purpose vehicles.
Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, adjusting, and overhauling major systems that include internal combustion engines, transmissions, heavy-duty driveline systems, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
Perform body corrosion corrections or prevention; resurface, prime and repaint surfaces as needed.
Proficient in servicing/repairing in accordance with technical manuals, schematics, management policies, and specifications to ensure first time quality is accomplished at the highest level.
Prepare supporting documents for parts ordering, classified for turn-in, and technical bulletins if applicable per work order. Submits daily man-hours for data collection accounting.
Attend mandatory annual Environmental Officer Training Program ensuring compliance with proper disposal of hazardous/contaminated waste products, Lock-out/Tag-out Program, and abiding by state environmental laws according to OSHA, DOT and DOH standards.
Works independently, will only ask for assistance after completing thorough research or testing.
Verifies vehicles and personnel entering military installation with ID badges to employees, visitors, and all other person to maintain security of premises.
