This position performs routine review and processing of motor vehicle dealership applications and forms to issue auto dealership licenses. I determine eligibility for licensure by applying policies, rules, and statutes. We also investigate any fraudulent documents such as leases, signatures, forged business documents, and planning/zoning laws with all city and county government offices in Texas. Communication with applicants is handled by email and phone calls.
Work involved customer service, reviewing and investigating license files for Agents and Adjusters in Texas. I received calls and emails from agents, companies, and the general public on licensing requirements, fines owed, application statuses, background checks, and any troubleshooting with our online websites/payment systems. I also assisted in reviewing forms sent in, and researching rules established by the Texas Insurance code and regulations. We used Microsoft Teams every day for communication and department meetings, and Outlook for emails.
Provided customer service, ticketing, reservations, and gate operations at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Duties included, managing flight arrivals and departures, rebooking customers on flights, baggage service, money handling, and processing flight paperwork for pilots departing from the gate. We also handled dangerous goods during check in procedures and consistent work under strict timing and deadlines.
