Work History

Medical Assistant Lead

OMP
02.2025 - Current
  • This year I managed to become a clinic lead in specialty.
  • I have spearheaded some trainings in the clinics, and have worked to get trainings that were typically once a year done more often, such as AED training and oxygen set up
  • I also order supplies, work with co-workers to ensure a safe working environment, schedule staff, train oncoming clinical staff, and just about anything else under the sun that is needed while I am at work.

Medical Assistant

OMP
04.2024 - 02.2025
  • I worked in many clinics.
  • I fell in love with Cardiology where I have been involved since.
  • Daily tasks that are included are, ECG’s, basic vitals(Pulse rate, Blood pressure, weight, O2 saturation), maintaining the providers schedule, placing all orders for a provider and removing as many barriers for patients as possible.

Medical Assistant Apprentice

OMP
04.2023 - 04.2024
  • I started at OMP as an apprentice, it involved a 3 month observation only period, followed by 9 months of clinical rotations, where I became proficient in many different clinics, primary care, orthopedics, pediatrics, women's health and many more.
  • After my rotations were over I would cover where needed until I found the clinic I wanted to work in.
  • Skills I became proficient in, medication administration, wound dressing, procedure set up, sterile procedure set up, taking vitals, cleaning, scheduling and any and all other tasks assigned to me.

Infantryman

US Army
01.2013 - 01.2016
  • I joined the Army right out of high school, originally wanting to be either a Firefighter or a combat medic, I was talked into Infantry, where I gained many different experiences than those around me.
  • I also learned battlefield medicine which not many people have.
