Veteran electrical engineer with top-level skills in electrical design , use of CAD tools (Cadence, Matlab, software language) , and manufacturing. Likeable personality and customer-focused background coupled with expertise in all areas of electrical engineering. Ready to tackle new challenges and build success with exciting organization.
Built my retirement home in Princeton Kansas.
I worked in the Advance Radar Design Group responsible for the design , construction , and testing of our radar product. Once the Design was ready we would release the design to the production facility in Kansas City, Mo. After the design release we would be responsible for educating the Kansas production staff in all aspects of the design, testing of the design, reporting the test data, to incorporate design changes that the production would be needed to successfully release the product into final production
My specific assignment were design a Sband Phase lock loop integrated circuit for release to IC foundry. Then when returned from foundry, I would work with technicians to test and document the electrical function, identify design errors and implement Secondary design correction.
Additional assignments was to develop a field test for a Sband radar operating in a radome to characterize the antenna ring down and cross talk. This testing phase lasted approximately 18 months.
I started at Bendix (Honeywell) in 1975 and have had multiple rolls. To shorten the list I will cover the last 15 years at Honeywell. I was the lead radar designer for the advance telemetry project. I lead 15 design engineers that were disciplined in Microwave, Digital, Mechanical , and optical design engineering. Additionally we had layout design specialist, technicians , and comptrollers that supported our projects. I was responsible for the total design concept, project lead, project budgets, and technical outreach. The technical outreach included research definition, funding , and project coordination with Kansas State University, Kansas University, and University of Missouri, Rolla.
Effective leader
undefinedMember I.E.E.E and Professional engineer.
Member of Microwave IEEE. to keep current with ongoing trends in Microwave engineer and to Network with other Microwave engineer outside my engineering circle.
The Professional engineer Certification was a job requirement, but seldom used.
