Presented the IAFF Fire Fighter of the Year Award for bravery beyond the call of duty. While off-duty, attempt to rescue fire victims (children) from a burning structure. Once the victims were removed from the structure by active-duty fire suppression  members, I continued to assist with resuscitation efforts along with on-duty emergency medical services personnel.
