Summary

Spanning the years of 2015- present I've learned many skills from my experience as a wildland firefighter, signal support specialist , correctional officers , backcountry trial crew member, and prescribed fire crew member and at present a student studying to become a physical therapist assistant. These jobs have served to help me stay sharp mentally and physically through being in a the spectrum of situation from doing closed reading essays on Hamlet to escaping forest fires. Through adapting to seemingly unwinnable situations, accepting working conditions such as such as snow, rain and humanity, thinking clearly under extreme stress of threat of physical confrontation, acting independently but in coherence to an overarching plan. meeting and working with people who are exact opposite of me and thriving, pushing past physical exhaustion and relying on mental toughness and learning how to learn large amounts of detailed information.
