  • I was hired to work on the haul trucks, loaders and drills while completing regular maintenance all the machines, including smaller equipment such as CAT utility vehicles and service pick-up trucks only as needed
  • Diagnose issues and propose resolutions

  • My daily tasks were: Identify and report hazard in my work area via a company track card system

  • I was a backup Lead man on multiple occasions- this included making decisions on the equipment and assigning task and ensuring timely completions
  • I was not a permanent Lead as I had not been able to attend all the training classes the position required

  • On a typical day I would gather all the paperwork and parts from the shop, picking the most critical job first to start with
  • I would then load the truck and/or the trailer with all the necessary parts and go to the job site to make sure that it is safe to begin the work
  • After making sure everything is safe and ready, we begin the job
  • When the was completed; I call the machine up and ready to be operated again, (this is a 30 minute warning) clean up the job site, return to the shop, put away all materials, complete all reports and paperwork, at this point depending on the job I would either go to the next job or go home for the day
  • I have the follow expertise for: Repaired A/C on all above equipment, Repaired electrical over hydraulics, Repaired compressors, Troubleshoot and repair grease systems, Doing tracks and hoist ropes, Fabricate and install handrails, guards, dust reflectors, Help contractors build the 7495 shovels, Rebuilding and replacing of transmissions, pumps and engines, Hoist motors and Crowd motors on P&H shovels, Swing motors and transmissions, Trouble shoot and repair electrical under twenty-four volts, Pull down cables, Operate a man basket, Operate a forklift to load and unload large parts, Currently certified through previous employer for MSHA.
