Summary

I was born and raised in Fresno, CA. Wanting to leave the valley, I decided to enlist into the United States Army as a military police officer in 2021. My original goals was to become a law enforcement officer but my goals quickly shifted as my passions in computers never left me from my childhood.

I deployed in February 2023. Right before deployment I met Pon Thephavong of Ameritech Business Systems while working at home depot. There he shared with me details of his company. When coming back in December of the same year, I immediately returned to Ameritech to see if I could train under him and learn about the IT world.

He let me pick up a position there as a junior tech which I was promoted to a Network Support Technician. There he mentored me and showed me everything from basic troubleshooting skills to enterprise level operations he built and designed for his clients.

Pon has been an amazing mentor for me teaching me all the skills and what it takes to be a network technician. He even taught me printer/copier maintenance and repair.

My only desire for leaving his company is to grow and learn more from others so that I can widen my scope of skills and knowledge.
