In High School I was First Honor Roll all throughout Junior and Senior Year. I also had multiple different scholarship opportunities for college and decided my best fit was San Jose State with it being close to home. I try to bring an enthusiastic and energetic spirit anywhere I go and try my hardest in absolutely everything I do to be the best I can be and create a positive environment around me for everyone else to succeed as well.
As a student volunteer at Palma High School, I went to go talk to the inmates at Soledad Correctional Facility, here we talked with them and shared stories connecting with the inmates as students. For me this was a life changing experience as you get to see the perspective of inmates who want to change for the better.
At Special Kids Connect I helped worked with handicapped children and helped them paint art. I did this for about a month and learned how to connect with them and it was a great experience.
I work well in teams, being a student it’s a necessity working well with others Working in groups has become a standard for me and everybody needs to be included to get the outcome you’re looking for I also go to the gym almost every day so lifting boxes and equipment wouldn’t be an issue
