I handle a fast paced environment here. My goal here is to lead coworkers to stay on task. I float around stations to help any one in need of assistance. Whether that is at the front greeting customers, making espresso drinks, and warming up pastries or on the floor replenishing pastries, cold drinks, sandwiches, replacing the trash, wiping chairs and tables. Since I am a closer here, my goal at the end of the night is to count registers and double check everything is clean and locked up for the night.

My goal here was to host a party at the bar. I had started as a server support running foods out to guests and making sure guests were happy. When I had moved into the bar it had became more challenging since it was my first time. I had learned so many drinks and so many ways to be more hospital to guests. I made drinks for the whole store, while also placing orders for guests at the bar. This job was hectic at times, but was such a great learning experience.

Working here impacted my life. This had been my first bakery job. The most important thing I learned here was time management. When I first started I had proactively restocked and organized the retail floor making sure everything was FIFO and clean. When I was more trusted I had to created baking schedules and organized custom orders, to make it easier for the bakers and decorators. While working with the cake decorators I had improved my decorating, which led me to working more on that station, communicating with guests about their order and completing the orders. There were days where I needed to work overnight to complete the baking for the day. While working as a baker I learned there is no time to waste, tons of baked goods need to be made in a short amount of time. When my manager realized I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done and the stores expectations she taught me more managerial skills. I learned to consistently count inventory weekly and monthly, I placed orders for merchandise from multiple different vendors, and I helped create weekly schedules.
