1. Proficient in obtaining patient medical history and vital signs

2. Proficient in recording data in EMR and communicating patient concerns with physician

3. Administer oral and injectable medication and immunizations by applying proper technique

4. Conduct wound check and dressing changes on post-operative patients, including removal of bandage, proper cleaning of incision, suture removal and removal and placement of steri-strips

5. Complete pre-procedure calls for patients in order to instruct them on instructions to be followed before procedures, as well as post-procedure calls to verify post-procedure status

6. Thoroughly explain procedures and surgeries to patients

7. Obtain readings and test results, such as blood pressure, glucose, urine drug screens and pregnancy tests

8. Retrieve date for physicians, such as labs, medical records and radiology reports

9. Prepare physician orders and referrals on EMR system for review and discharge orders.

• Provide private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance, improve occupational skills or prepare for academic or occupational tests
• Teach students study skills, note-taking skills, test-taking strategies
• Assess students progress throughout the tutoring sessions
• Prepare lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students' needs and goals
• Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate or build confidence in students
• Review class material with students by discussing text, working solutions to problems or revising worksheets or other assignments
• Organize tutoring environments to promote productivity and learning
• Schedule tutoring appointments with students or their parents
