Throughout my high-school education I took metal classes and found an interest in welding. This lead me to take a dual-enrollment welding course through York Tech my senior year. I learned all different types of welding techniques including, SMAW, Tig, GMAW, and FCAW, in all positions. Due to a growth in skill and increased interest in the trade, I was hired on as a shop hand. After graduation I continued my employment through York Tech, continued fine-tuning my skills, and attained my 6G SMAW pipe certification. I have continued to practice regularly, which consists in 2G, 5G, 6G, Tig and SMAW.
