I am responsible for preparing and dispensing medications throughout my day. As well as managing high-volume inbound calls from patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and medical assistants, addressing inquiries and providing information. Make outbound calls to patients and providers to facilitate prescription refills, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service

• Managed medication inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and promptly ordering supplies/meds from the contracted CVS pharmacy as needed. Accurately filled daily prescriptions and prepared "Keep On Person" (KOP) medications. Efficiently addressed inquiries from nursing staff, providing timely information to facilitate seamless medication administration to patients.

• Being a pharmacy technician, I oversee filling, pulling out expires, doing inventory count, answering incoming calls, making outbound calls to patients if needed, and cleaning up my area daily. I am also in charge of the contract we have with the lawyers’ offices, so I will type, fill, and order anything needed for those specific patients.

• My responsibilities as a pharmacy technician in the correctional facilities included keeping up with the stock supply of medications, ordering medications, occasionally filling medications (blister packs), creating profiles for patients/inmates, cleaning up the pharmacy, putting away medications, and communicating with the nurses to make sure everything needed was being ordered on time.

• As a pharmacy technician trainee, I would welcome patients with a smile and provide personalized care throughout their visit. Additionally, I am experienced in filling medications, keeping my area clean, helping customers in store and drive-thru, updating and creating patient profiles, and even packaging door dash orders.
