As an independent general agent I provided excellent information regarding the products I asked clients to consider. In all cases my product recommendations were geared to to providing maximum safety and maximum value. My practice was comprised of Fixed annuities, Fixed Indexed annuities, Life insurance, and medicare supplement insurance. On a seasonal basis I participated in corporate employee benefit enrollments in various states around the country, again recommending the most value for the client. I wast always striving to be highly informed through perpetual self-education, beyond the scope of mandated continuing education.

• Served as mentor and role model to junior officers.
• Supervised and coordinated daily operations of patrol shifts of up to eighteen officers.
• Answered emergency calls for help from citizens and business owners.
• Managed personnel schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts while minimizing overtime expenses.
• Served as a anti-crime officer (plain clothes.) patrolling in unmarked vehicles in order to interrupt crimes in-progress and, or, apprehend offenders where the trail was still warm.
• Firearms...met firearms qualifications standards always on the first attempt. Taught officers under my supervision the principles of "Shoot...don't shoot" scenarios. Member of pistol team. Received numerous awards for "Excellent" marksmanship.
• Assigned to Criminal Investigation Bureau where the full array of follow-up investigations were conducted. Included everything from crimes against juveniles to homicides.
• Promoted the rank of Sergeant after five and one half years of service. Rotated, as was the custom, back to Uniformed Patrol.
• Identified appropriate fitness equipment and arranged the purchase of same for voluntary use by officers.
• Subsequently assigned to Administrative Bureau where duties included the screening of applicants for Police Officer, conducting background investigations of said applicants. The duties further included internal investigations of officer conduct which was outside accepted norms or conduct which was illegal. I further wrote several items of Department Policy as assigned by the chief of police.
• Accompanied police officers during shifts to evaluate performance and resolve incorrect behaviors.
• Supervised crowds at busy events to prevent injuries and property destruction.
• Mentored junior officers, providing guidance on best practices for policing techniques and career advancement opportunities.
• Led shift briefings to inform officers of properties to check and individuals of note in local areas.
• Provided critical incident command during emergency situations, directing response efforts to protect public safety swiftly.
• Developed and maintained positive relationships with community members.
• Coordinated special event security details, working closely with organizers to ensure public safety during large gatherings.
