• Worked with a group of Students at Bryant University for a semester in 2020 to create a campaign for Seven Hills Of Rhode Island to raise awareness and promote inclusivity for those with disabilities. We created accounts to spread awareness to eliminate the R-word from everyday speech.
• Completed a Practicum at URI Child's Development Center, learned how to encourage children to pursue their own interests, foster friendships and self-esteem, respect one another's cultures and languages, and, most importantly, to learn through play. and create relationships with children ages 3- 5.
• Conducted Needs Assessment in a class taken at URI with a team, focusing on binge drinking in older adults in Rhode Island.
• Worked along with Dr. Cohen and Dr. Greany on qualitative research methods which focused on Rural-Urban Drivers of Differences in Informal Caregiving in Fall 2022.
• Developed a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for the "Ocean State, Activate!" program, focusing on assessing the effectiveness of interventions aimed at reducing childhood obesity and preventing diabetes among Rhode Island adolescents. This included designing questions to evaluate program processes, outcomes, and overall impact on student health and behavior.
• Conducted Research Project for my Research Methods Class focused on the association between utilization of resources, self-efficacy, and social integration with overall wellness among international graduate students at Boston University School of Public Health.
