My name is Gen Bartlett and I am passionate about equipping people to see their ability to take care of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I worked in rural settings providing and developing community health strategies. I focused on teaching and implementing nutrition, malaria treatment, wound care, and vaccination needs for the community.
I love caring for others and empowering them to care for themselves! I believe listening to patients and their families is key to finding the proper plan of care as you give them the opportunity to be involved. I have experience in Cardiac ICU, Bariatrics, long term care, clinic setting as a family nurse practitioner, and working with other cultures and languages in patient care. I have also lived overseas in West Africa for the last 8 years and have used my nurse practitioner skills in villages providing care including vaccinations, wound care, blood pressure clinics, nutritional care and meeting other such needs. I recently became recertified with the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner and currently working in a clinic setting providing care, counseling, and management of comorbidities.
