• Senior Project Manager
• Plan, organize, staff and manage multiple construction projects. Ensures that projects are profitable and meet proper deadlines and customer expectations.
• Responsible for Project Manager Assignments, monitoring job schedule progress, material and equipment approvals and coordination etc.
• Responsible for coordinating estimating activities and project job sites to ensure uniformity in the most efficient application of estimating resources.
• Oversee pre-comeetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field.
• Responsible for estimates including take-offs, extension and material pricing per NEC and other standards.
• Responsible for continually seeking ways to reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of Estimating and Project Management by implementing improved techniques, computer usage etc. as justified by cost benefit analysis.
• Evaluate and develop construction budgets and schedules for various projects.
• Design, review, approve and implement construction drawings and specifications for field installation.
• Coordinate, manage and develop shop drawings for surface roadway lighting systems complete and workable with street lighting controllers in compliance with DOT standards including temporary roadway lighting.
• Visit job sites and interact with General Contractors, customers, technicians, and crews to ensure proper job progress. Maintain customer and employee relations.
• Work with superintendents/foremen to guarantee structures are built in conformance with the contract requirement. Also, identify and resolve field issues and track change orders.
• Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, evaluate labor efficiencies and resolve key issues.
• Provide operational power, achieve operational objectives;
• Establish electrical standards, develop systems, maintain electrical systems and safe and healthy work environment
• Responsible for Medium Voltage to High Voltage Power Systems conversion.
• Responsible for Street lighting conversion from MH to HPS in various towns.
• Manage all job closeout procedures.
