Wrote success stories of persons with mental illness, highlighting their accomplishments and achievements about bettering their mental and/or physical health and/or lifestyle. Highlighted the assistance of certified peers, therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists, as well as, by their own efforts. Awarded the 2018 Michigan NAMI Media Award with reference to my stories.

Drove clients to community settings such as restaurant or sometimes shopping, talked to them and listened to their situations and problems and successes while projecting confidence in them and helping them get through obstacles and setbacks on their path to recovery.

Registered and engaged incoming clients who were in crisis. Prepared them in advance to speak to the case worker and psychiatrist. Composed progress notes for each client.
