GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth Group)

• I have been an active member of my parish’s youth group since I was around 13 or 14. I served as the treasurer for 3 years consecutively and as president for my junior and senior years.
• My responsibilities as treasurer included managing deposits from fundraising, disbursement of funds for group outings, and balancing our accounts.
• As president, my responsibilities included working with adult advisors to plan fundraisers and activities for our group, as well as leading our monthly meetings and sending out communication to members.

Altar Server at Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Greek Orthodox church)

• Ever since I was around 11 or 12 I have been helping the priest at my parish conduct liturgy. I help out by preparing things inside the altar behind the scenes and also by leading the procession around our church for Holy Communion.

Festival Volunteer at Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Greek Orthodox Church)

• Every year my family and I volunteer our time at our church's annual festival which is the main source of fundraising for our church. Some of the things I have helped with include serving food, working the grill, as well as running one of the registers.
