  • Certified as an Electrical Apprentice
  • 900 hours of theory and practical curriculum which builds on the NEC code, building codes, safety codes and includes a combination of classroom instruction reinforced by laboratory work. During the laboratory phase of the instruction, students use materials, tools, and diagrams to simulate residential, commercial and industrial field trade conditions. All instruction is under the supervision of NJ State Licensed electrical contractors.
  • Expertise includes the following areas:
  • Installation and repair of residential and commercial wiring.
  • Installation and/or troubleshooting of electrical systems from the point of connection of the electrical utility through end use devices.
  • Knowledge of UL listed material and devices for electrical installations.
  • Basic understanding of EMT conduit fabrication and installation.
  • Blueprint reading. Understanding of the permit and inspection process.
  • OSHA 30 Safety Certified
