Work History

President

Winston Holdings Limited, Inc.
11.2017 - Current

Hired and managed employees to maximize productivity while training staff on best practices and protocols.

Developed and implemented new strategies and policies to establish long-term business objectives and provide strong and sustainable organizational leadership.

Cultivated strong relationships with external partners to foster collaboration and maximize resources.

Reduced operational costs through strategic cost management initiatives.

Provided engineering consulting related to mechanical and flow and/or acoustic induced vibration on the Coral South FLNG vessel.

Established and maintained strong relationships with customers, vendors and strategic partners.

Maintained P&L and shouldered corporate fiscal responsibility.

Analyzed industry trends and tracked competitor activities to inform decision making.

Engineering Manager

Exterran Energy Solutions
03.2013 - 11.2017

Trained, led, managed team of analysts and designers in conducting data collection of problematic compressor packages, performing operational deflection shape (ODS) analysis from data taken in the field on operational units.

Performed finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS APDL/Workbench of mechanical and acoustic systems, performing harmonic forced response analysis and/or time transient analysis using acquired data.

Using grounded FEA models, investigate and assessed means by which to mitigate vibration levels of concern validating proposed design changes using FEA and classical methods.

Planned and directed at site the modification and/or installation of mean by which to mitigate pulsation and vibration.

Captured lessons learned and disseminated them via presentation type summary reports posted on company intranet ot presentations delivered in biweekly training sessions.

Conducted Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of failed compressor units, bearings, bolted connections and fatigue/fracture of pressure vessels, piping and piping components.

Instrumental in leading the design and construction of 10,000 psi, high-pressure enhanced oil recovery (EOR) injection compressor packages.

Senior Consultant

Petrofac Incorporated
11.2011 - 03.2013

Performed FEA of pressure relieving and flare piping systems subject the effects of flow induced and acoustic induced vibration for onshore and offshore facilities.

Provided screening of piping systems for AIV susceptibility per the Energy Institute's "Guidelines for the Avoidance of Vibration Induced Fatigue in Process Pipework" calculating downstream temperatures, density, velocity and Mach numbers using classical methods and determining life estimation of piping by performing FEA to determine modal Eigenvalue stresses then using a proprietary developed code to calculate the joint acceptance factor (modal participation) and corresponding stresses.

Conducted audit of the proprietary computer code using in post-processing of ANSYS generated results for the purpose of predicting an estimated piping fatigue life under the assumed acoustic excitation.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Gas Turbine Materials Associates
03.2010 - 11.2011

Performed mechanical analysis using FEA and classical methods in support of material/metallurgical failure analysis of failed machinery and machinery components including steam and gas turbines, reciprocating compressors, and stationary process systems including piping and vessels.

Performed thermal analysis using classical and FEA to determine heat transfer from a GE MS5002, Model B and C turbine bucket into the turbine disc to assess the effects of temperature on the long term life of the compressor disc. This work in support of a PRCI project was co-presented before the PRCI compressor and pump technical section.
