- In the assisted living center, I set up the dining room, took drink, appetizer, entrée, and dessert orders, spent time with residents, took down the dining room, washed dishes, vacuumed, mopped, swept, wiped tables, cleaned the kitchen, reset the dining room, rolled silverware, and fulfilled any other responsibilities that needed to be completed throughout the building with an upbeat attitude to make residents feel at home and welcome. I am extremely good at communicating with seniors and have been described by my fellow workers and boss as a good energy to be around and a people person. Working here at a young age taught me fast-paced work, how to communicate with people who are complex, and how to keep a good attitude even in busy times.
