I have worked as a Product Manager in the flexible packaging industry for 14 years working for Volflex Inc., a company that was founded 15 years ago. Working with, and growing, a new business allowed me to grow my skills in almost every aspect of the Sales/National Account Manager/Product Manager job functions as required. During my time at Volflex I helped grow that business from a fledgling company to a leader in the foodservice flexible packaging industry. I was responsible for bringing in Direct National Accounts as well as working with our other manufacturing partners to help them secure business using our products. I was directly responsible for targeting, securing and maintaining $20+MM in yearly business. Working closely with all departments within our company to ensure profitability, timely manufacturing, on time delivery and product quality. I have worked with National Accounts on new product development from inception to completion.
