Student Nutrition Group at the University of South Carolina, Columbia (January 2024 — Present)
• Weekly gatherings to discuss various nutrition topics including gut health, food accessibility/ insecurity, food safety, nutrition education, disordered eating, dietetics, sustainable eating, and more.
• Opportunities to connect with professionals such as guest speakers, student speakers, and researchers in the field of nutrition.
• Several hands-on experiences through volunteering at food banks such as Harvest Hope and Be Kind Be Great, educating peers regarding nutrition resources, and cooking demonstration.
Public Health Society at the University of South Carolina, Columbia (January 2024-Present)
• Meet bi-weekly to discuss public health-related news/events, job opportunities, and on-campus events related to public health, and build connections with peers with similar career goals.
• Build connections and expand knowledge through public health professionals including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare teams, and graduate students.
• Host events educating peers about public health issues such as mental health, smoking/vaping, nutrition, vaccinations, heart disease, and substance/ alcohol abuse.
Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) (August 2017-May 2021)
• An active member in high school
• Service Project Chair (10th-12th grade): Assisted in planning, implementing, and communicating service projects that explore the medical field to the public and members of the organization. For instance, I was responsible for organizing a walk-a-thon for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Blood drives where over 100 liters of blood was collected.
Trojan Council (Student Council) at Northwestern High School (August 2019-May 2021)

• At Large Representative (10th-12th grade)- Responsible for planning, organizing, and assisting in school-oriented events such as Open House, Homecoming, Dodgeball Tournaments, and Prom.
