Summary

I have been a significant part of my dance team and Varsity soccer team at Buffalo Grove High School. I have been named as student director, which is the highest hierarchy when being on a dance team. In other words I’m captain of my dance team. I have been on this team for 4 years and was an assistant student director my junior year before being named student director this year. Being in this position I have to be on my A game at all times when it comes to quick thinking, collaboration with my teammates, and overall doing what’s best for my team. The dances I’ve choreographed include Hip hop for our spring show (2022), Mini concert (2022), Homecoming (2022), and now another dance I will be showcasing in the spring (2023). I was hand picked by the Giordano Dance Company to perform at their showcase my junior and senior year. I have been dancing since I was 2 and continued my dance career at McDonald dance Academy, now named Arlington Dance Academy. I have participated in Winter galas, recitals, showcases, and charity events at my studio. As far as soccer goes I have been on Varsity for 3 years, and occasionally captain at games. I have been playing since I was 7 and have played for clubs such as Aces, Elite S.C., and F.C. United. As an athlete I learned to be a natural leader and lead my team to to victory. I have won over 10 championships and gained many trophies and medals over my soccer career. We qualified for state, as well. Moving forward to college I joined a sorority named, Alpha Phi. I have been an active member by living in the house and doing charity work for big organizations such as Make-A-Wish. We also participate in all events related to my colleges IFC programs. I am currently studying Accounting at the Gatton College of Business and Economics. I have attended many career fairs regarding my major and have gained new insight on the business world.

Accomplishments
