- Maintain security and surveillance over institutional access, egress, program activities, and other activities.
- Communicate with officers to facilitate scheduled inmate movements, such as: as cleaners, tablet workers, food, pill line. Shift change lockdown, yards open or closed.
- Understand and be familiar with digital board for accountable sections. Maintain a log of daily activities and events.
- Radio or echo when count is initiated and frozen. Be familiar with count initiation, count freeze and the discrepancy log, document discrepancies when necessary.
- Control one (training): familiarized with statewide inmate counts for USCF, CUCF, CCCs. When applicable, communicate county jail inmate roster audits and verify roster/ state count. Email daily log, pass downs and discrepancies to specified chain of command.
- Communicate needs for travel orders, necessary, using embossed paperwork, face sheets.
- Assist after hours moves by assigning inmates to housing beds.
