- I began delivering flower for a friend as part time help, the owner of the business thought I did such a good job she hired me on fulltime to be her personal driver.
- At times over the years I have helped in the shop, answering phones, checking inventory, designing bouquets, cleaning and maintaining workspace and shop.
- Also bringing the flower pieces to weddings and funerals etc, setting up and taking down.
- A huge part of this job requires being on time and very self sufficient, any given day I could have 50 to 60 flower bouquets that needed to be accounted for, paid for, delivered to, and on time.
- Being able to route every order and have them brought to each house on time meant keeping track of weather, traffic and holidays that might interfere.
- Answering phones, texts, recording every delivery, and knowing addresses to insure they were current and correct, this also requires extreme multitasking.
