Responsibilities

* Ensured that all children in my care felt safe, accepted and loved.

* Created a classroom environment which was conducive for engaging children to explore and learn about their surroundings.

* Employed various educational techniques to teach my preschoolers. Used media, storytelling with props, and social/emotional play.

* Observed my children and took anecdotal notes to record their interactions with their classmates to discover their strengths and weaknesses. With this knowledge at hand, I developed appropriate lesson plans to enhance their learning.

* Maintained a clean classroom.

* Provided a diverse supply of educational materials for each center in the classroom.

* Effectively communicated with parents to facilitate strong, healthy relationships.

* Joined forces with my colleagues to brainstorm ideas regarding classroom management techniques and discuss successful methods for assisting those with challenging behaviors.
