When I first joined Boy Scouts of America, I was nervous about camping, leading others, and speaking in front of groups. Over the years, I learned how to work as a team, help younger Scouts, and challenge myself in ways I never expected. For my Eagle Scout project, I organized volunteers to build a community garden for a local shelter. I planned the project, raised money for supplies, and led the team through every step. Seeing families enjoy the garden afterward made all the hard work worth it. The day I earned the rank of Eagle Scout, I realized it was about more than badges or awards, it was about leadership, service, and becoming someone others could depend on.
