Grant Lieberman

Taught 5th grade Hebrew, 8th and 9th grade Judaic studies and helped with preschool. Designed lesson plans for students and filled in as a substitute teacher when necessary.

Worked with campers to foster writing and reporting skills. Wrote news articles, edited stories, digitally designed and printed newspapers and took over as Department Head on days when it was necessary.

Worked as a summer camp counselor in the public relations department for campers ages 6-17 years old. Assisted campers in getting ready for activities and remained an active presence around the bunks 24 hours a day. Aided unit leaders in programming and planning activities for campers. Wrote camper evaluations (both for actions around the bunks and in department) for CITs who are training to become counselors.

Interacted with and kept track of 50+ new students at Hillel. Planned welcome events and programming sessions for students with other interns. Assisted in setting up Hillel events and volunteered at Jewish advocacy stations and pop-ups around campus.
