Worked with campers to foster writing and reporting skills. Wrote news articles, edited stories, digitally designed and printed newspapers and took over as Department Head on days when it was necessary.
Worked as a summer camp counselor in the public relations department for campers ages 6-17 years old. Assisted campers in getting ready for activities and remained an active presence around the bunks 24 hours a day. Aided unit leaders in programming and planning activities for campers. Wrote camper evaluations (both for actions around the bunks and in department) for CITs who are training to become counselors.
