Grant Roberson

I have always been a leader, since high school when I played sports. I always try to push to make everything and everyone better around me. I feel that my Paraprofessional Job at the school was a good start for me. I have been outside and inside, working with children and learning important lessons. I am also able to coach which is something I love and am passionate about. Coaching brings out the player and character in me. It helps me make others around me better and I love it. My skills, well I would say perseverance is one. I have had many struggles in my life but I have found a way to overcome for the better. I have always been willing to be unselfish so I am willing to do whatever needs to be done. While I have many skills those are just a few key ones. Working as a Car Salesman/ Service Department has taught me so much about people interaction. It has helped me take a step out of my comfort zone and learn how to communicate with people.

• When in high school I played baseball, football, and basketball. I started all four years for baseball and basketball on varsity.
• My junior year for baseball we were able to get our first baseball regional for the school.
• Then in basketball we were able to get to the regional final game, since the first time in 15 to 20 years.
• I have been around sports and winning my whole life. I feel that the sports and my accomplishments have shaped who I am today.
