I was in active addiction for 37 years, I was sentenced to New Paths 4 times, I've been to prison because of my actions in addiction. I've been Clean and Sober for over fourteen years. Since I've been sober , I've been very active in Alcoholics Anonymous. I've sponsored several people in Alcoholics Anonymous.

As a Residential Adviser, I made sure client were up in the morning, clients took care of the hygiene, cleaned their rooms and took their medications, if needed. Took clients out for smoke break.

After breakfast, client would go to groups at which time I would complete the paper & computer work the needed to be completed.

After lunch, clients would go back to group. During that time a clients chore list that were to be done after groups.

When my shift was complete, I would give the 2nd shift Residential Adviser feedback as to how the day went with the clients and if there were any disruptions through out the day.
