I was offered a position for QA and to become a team leader but was never interested. I decided to become a QA after 6 years because the company was short staffed in that department and gave it a try. I was a floater on the production floor for 6 years since I knew how to work in all departments. Also helped Human Resources with interviews for spanish speaking new hires. Helped management translate whenever was needed .
