New technology included electrical charging options, and mobile payment options for visitors

  • Provided strategic leadership to meet departmental goals in alignment with the campus master plan. Led the campus through establishing Parking and Transportation as an independent department separate from the Police department. Upgraded an obsolete metering system to electric meters and introduced mobile parking and electrical charging to the campus. Established multi-modal transportation options to include secure bicycle racks, shuttle systems to support a bicycle focused campus.

  • Introduced the campus to a zoned parking system. Students were allowed to park in preferred zones based on their class status. Faculty and staff were able to choose parking off campus and paying a lower rate for parking. Additional resources were allocated to bicycles, pedestrians, and campus shuttles. This created a multi-modal transportation system for the campus. Proper marketing really allowed this project to be successful.
