• Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, Vancouver, WA, Identified invasive plant species known as ricefield bulrush in wetland territory., Trudged through refuge to remove the invasive plants and dispose of them properly., Recorded inventory of invasive plants as well as natives
• Mālama Maunalua, Honolulu, HI, Assisted in restoring the marine environment by removing invasive algae from the nearshore waters, and properly disposing of the algae
