HAILEY MARBIBI

As a biologist, I will strive to do research into the effects of ionizing radiation- specifically the radiosynthesis process and proteins involved in such- with possibilities of applications such as safer cancer treatment and bioremediation. As a chemist, I want to understand how these processes could be applied to the chemistry of our own genome and its applications. However, as a person, I intend to ask questions that inspire people to ask more questions and never to stop learning.

Adopt a Pixel 3 km: A Multiscale Data Set Linking Remotely Sensed Land Cover Imagery with Field Based Citizen Science Observation, Paper resulting from a 10-week NASA Stem Enhancement in Earth Sciences (SEES) internship in the Summer of 2020. I was responsible for identifying habitats for mosquito larvae, and if present the species of larva.
