Work History

Automotive Enthusiast Advisor I-II

Hagerty Insurance
03.2022 - 06.2023

While working at Hagerty, I worked to embody the values that the company was best known for- to a point that I was selected as Bar Raiser, an unpaid role that put me as the representative of my team in direct meetings with the leadership of the entire Customer Service department. I approached every call and situation with empathy and a true joy in my work, doing everything that I could to ensure the customer had a fantastic experience in calling. I worked every day to not only build quotes, underwrite files, review risk, and process payments, but also to engage customers and make them feel at home in calling the company. I took pride in utilizing my keen eye and problem-solving capabilities to find creative solutions to problems and to pinpoint anything out of the norm in the files I handled, and utilized key resources every day to help with every situation I came across.

Claims Support Representative

In shifting to the Claims Department at the request of my supervisors, I then took the empathy that I utilized on everyday calls to the company to help customers in filing claims and giving them confidence that their claims would be given genuine care and attention. I documented necessary details for claims submissions and assisted in facilitating contact between clients and their adjusters.

Working as a CSR for a public-facing up-and-coming insurance company required me to present definitive knowledge of coverages, as well as in-depth knowledge of state reporting processes. I applied in-depth knowledge of my company's resources to to face concerns and issues of our members with empathy and patience, guiding them to solutions or creating them myself. As an employee of a new and learning company, I also applied my problem-solving skills and creative thinking to provide solutions for common issues and errors we faced internally to assist in improving our processes and finding harmful trends that we could solve. In addition, I was entrusted in assisting the training team in preparing new hires for their positions at the company as a Subject Matter Expert.

02.2019 - 01.2020

As a Break-Fix Technician for a sizable factory plant, I was tasked with managing the technology necessary for day-to-day practices, from printers to computers to scanners and machines on the floor. I would set up secure new devices for incoming employees, as well as upgrading and ensuring the protection of devices of everyone within the plant. My team was entrusted with the technological security of the entire plant, and I was often tasked with dealing with security breaches in technological systems, to protect the data in the network.
