Community Service

April 2023

I help volunteer my time at the Churchill County Livestock Show and sale. I helped many kids clip lambs, goats, and pigs. I was a ring steward for the breeding hog and cattle show as well as the market show. I wrote down placings and assisted the judge with whatever he needed.

February 9-10th 2024

I drove home from college to help and volunteer with the livestock Judging clinic. We welcomed kids from all around the state of nevada to help teach them how to judge animals.  My sister and I provided a few lambs and goats to help coach the kids with. We gave each of the kids pointers on how to judge a animal. The 10th, we had multiple classes of different species and I helped take reasons for the juniors. After I helped in the office calculating the scores.

April 25- 27 2024

I drove down from college to help again at the Churchill County Livestock Show and sale. I helped many kids practice showmanship with lambs, and pigs. I was a ring steward for the breeding hog and cattle show as well as the market show. I wrote down placings and assisted the judge with whatever he needed. I opened all of the gates for the hogs and distributed awards. I helped the best dressed show and help put on the buyers luncheon. During the sale, I directed the order of the hogs in their sale order.
