I worked at Ronaldo’s since I was 16 started off waitressing and loved it & was really good at that. I always had my regulars come in to see me. I loved talking to them & other customers building a bond. Even at 16 6 months into working. I knew I wanted to bartend. I loved the energy. & watching my boss who was one of the most amazing person I had ever met. She took me under her wing. Became like another mom. After working doubles and cleaning for 2 hours when the bar was closed she would teach me on the side & I would stay sometimes until 2am because I wanted it so bad. & when I turned 18 I jumped right in. I was waitressing & bartending together I would do both on the same day because I loved my customers I didn’t wanna miss my people where I was waitressing out front they wouldn’t really come in anymore when I was working the bar & I loved them also so that’s when I did both. & they all started coming back. I listen to them make them feel like they were important to me which they were. I bonded with everyone even co workers. Did fun things to keep the morale up. I fell in love with job but the environment got really bad about a year before I left my other boss was a drunk & would be getting completely wasted screaming in the kitchen and at customers and began to yell at all the employees in front of customers for no reason. Every one was leaving. I tried to help to keep the business open but it ended up closing. Then I went to the community oven & loved it my boss was amazing. I got regulars so fast & they also became family to me. I helped create new drinks from them because of me learning every thing so young. I made them a lot of money same at Ronaldo’s I made them more money than they ever made. I grow relationships & just would almost be out of beer and alcohol. I upsold for both places like crazy because I wanted us all to be successful & when I want something. I go for it. Customers only came in when I was working. I was making around $6,000 a week in tips. I don’t do drama I don’t do mean girls how all girls are when you first start. If they wanna get to know me I love that. I love a good team & it doesn’t work well with out one. My boss asked me to teach everyone to work as a team and be more efficient but no one likes a bartender but most importantly a friend telling them things on how to do there job. I wouldn’t want that either that’s why I denied the managers position multiple times and another huge main reason is because I already had my dream job & I love fast paced & fast money. I loved what I did but my boss ended up leaving and moving and the restaurant was bought from new owners.
