I have been engaged in delivering three courses for the bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering and Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering.

• Computer-Aided Design, AutoCAD classes for civil engineering classes.
• Building construction courses for civil engineering classes.
• Fundamentals of Architecture for Civil Engineering Classes.
• Structural and architectural drawing classes for hydraulic and water resources engineering classes.

Simultaneously, I was also participating in community service projects organized by the university. This includes

• Developing architectural design and specification works for government-aided and non-government-aided projects.
• Preparing as-built plans.
• Revaluation/Quantity/Cost Estimation works: re-evaluation of construction works.

Senior Architect of the Bahir Dar University Real Estate Project, which covers around 200 hectares of land. It was a very vast project that consists of different housing schemes, commercial facilities, social service institutes, public spaces, green spaces, parking spaces, etc. The project was meant to be self-sufficient regarding water supply and power consumption.

My responsibility in the project was preparing.

• Land budgeting and neighborhood planning.
• Developing neighborhood design.
• Preparing land use maps.
• Developing the architectural design of different housing scheme typologies.
• Preparing presentation drawings and presenting the overall project idea to the board members of the client.

Architect of the Ethiopian Institute of Textile Engineering (Bahir Dar University Selam Campus) compound site work and landscape design.

• This project consists of an asphalt road, greenery, a walkway, electrical works, public drainage, and a water supply and sewerage system, with a project construction contract amount of ETB 223,556,676.50.
• My responsibility during this project was preparing detailed landscape design drawings for the above-mentioned project.

During this time, I was also able to participate in the physical projects of the university. Like,

• Design review of different projects at the university conducted by external consultants.
• Bid evaluation.
• Evaluating design competitions.

I was a contract employee in the role of architect for the Woreta Educational and Research Center design project.

• This project has two separate buildings, G+3 and B+G+4, with an overall built-up area of 2,013.5 square meters on the total plot of the project area of 4,387.5 square meters.
• My responsibility during this project was preparing presentation drawings and detailed landscape design drawings for the above-mentioned project.

As a first experience as an assistant lecturer at Debre Markos University, I have given three courses for the bachelor's degree program in Construction Technology Management and Hydraulic Engineering.
