I am a motivated student with a passion for science, specifically biology. I have extensive academic and work experience in the field, as I have achieved honors in science as well as worked as a CNA. Ultimately, I strive to share my passion for science using my communication and social skills.
In my role as a CNA, I took care of roughly twenty individuals with conditions ranging from ambulatory and relatively independent to bedridden. I assisted in feeding, hygiene, and ambulation, as well as provided the residents a comfortable environment to live in.
I assisted approximately forty residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, eating, and ambulation. As part of my medication technician duties, I used the Quick MAR program to distribute medication to residents. I also gave residents medication as needed. In addition, I was often the shift leader in the evenings, directing my coworkers and keeping a schedule.
I operated the register while providing customers with craft advice and assistance. I also restocked the shelves and organized and constructed product displays.
