I manage inventory, enhance customer service standards, and coach and train clerks on different metrics. I am a self-motivated Front End Manager that has been serving the public for the past five years!
As a Front End Manager, I oversee the front end cashiers and courtesy clerks. I make sure call sheets are set up each day so the front end clerks know which tasks to follow each hour. I help monitor customer traffic at checkout and set high expectations for great customer service throughout the store. I pull sets of reports each day and compare clerks scores to district goals. I keep track of attendance and cover shifts when I need to. I do first day, second week, and first month evaluations with new hires. I order check stand and aisle candy, gum, and snacks and control the inventory on those items. I also am a backup for our customer service booth which includes doing money orders, western union, refunds, adjusting pricing errors, safe audits, and till balances.
