Case Management- Filing of new cases into the electronic system and updating existing files as per progress of case. Preparation of court documents for the judge and members of the public who are set to appear for a hearing. Generating necessary legal documents and notices to be presented or sent to necessary parties. Ensuring that payments made on cases are updated in parties’ files.
Data Entry- One of my primary tasks was regarding parking tickets, ensuring that new parking ticket violations were input into the spreadsheet and appropriate timelines for payment were documented additionally updating the spreadsheet on existing parking ticket violations that had been paid off or dismissed.
Processing of Payments- Assisted with processing of payment of fines and fees over the phone and at the counter.
