  • Records Administration & Compliance: Oversee the daily processing, organization, maintenance, retention, and authorized disposition of police records, including investigative, supplemental, arrest, accident, evidence, and other confidential documentation. Ensure records are maintained in accordance with DARM retention schedules and departmental requirements.
  • Legal & Public Records Support: Manage OPRA, Common Law, and Discovery requests from attorneys, prosecutors, public defenders, government agencies, and members of the public.   • Records & Training Management: Maintain accurate personnel training records, Alcotest documentation, criminal histories, accreditation records, and other departmental databases. Monitor documentation for completeness and ensure records remain current and accessible.
  • Interagency Coordination: Coordinate information and documentation with prosecutors, courts, attorneys, government agencies, and other law-enforcement organizations. Process requests from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and assist with the timely exchange of records, evidence, and statistical information.
  • Administrative Coordination: Coordinate crossing guard schedules, callouts, and substitute coverage; manage departmental supply orders; oversee alarm and emergency-contact registrations and billing; and coordinate procurement and revisions of departmental forms.
  • Public & Departmental Relations: Serve as a professional liaison between the public and police personnel, responding to inquiries, managing telephone communications, and providing assistance with sensitive records and administrative matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
