-Ear notching mice for ID purposes
-Tail clipping to obtain samples for genotyping
-Setting up new cages
-Assigning new weans to their appropriate cages and weaning them into those cages
-Palpating, weighing, and doing health observations of experimental mice
-Daily health checks
-Administering drugs to mice via oral gavage, IV, and IP routes
-Performing necropsies
-Creating shipment requests, preparing for and fulfilling shipments
-Daily data entry utilizing Excell, and Mouse Colony
Restraint and handling of cats, dogs, pocket pets, and birds
-Administering medications and vaccinations
-Placing IV catheters
-IM, IV, and SQ injections
-Monitoring anesthesia
-Obtaining samples for laboratory testing, performing in house laboratory diagnostics and
preparing samples to be sent to external laboratories
